While it has been shamefully quiet…cricket, cricket…it has been another great month at White Book!

83 Degrees Media held one of their best discussions to date. We’re not just saying that because they are such a fab media outlet, or because they are our clients or because we are advocates of diversity communication, but because it was definitely one of the liveliest, fun and diverse conversations to date. If you missed this event, truly a shame. Yeah, we’re going to rub it in! The discussion was led byLaFern Batie of The Batie Group and covered global diversity, from how it impacts the way we do business and communicate digitally to how it reaches the various generations in professional and personal settings. You can read the recap here.

We scheduled Mark Kamp for a special book signing event at The Book Rack in Cape Girardeau, MO and then he made a special appearance on Studio 10, along with a live studio audience. (An interesting story which involves multi-tasking at its finest along with students from an Effective Speaking for Fashion class. We’ll save that for a later date!)

To round out our month, we made two trips out east to DC and Baltimore to see our friends at Fuse Pilates. They also made national news with media hits in Fitness and the May/June issue of Pilates Style. Be sure to grab a copy!

These upcoming weeks we’ll be covering a variety of content as it relates to communication and business. Here’s to a hot and fun month of June!
