The first month of January was a crazy (but fun!) ride, and February is bringing in the same carnival-style excitement from the 3% Super Bowl Tweetup to NYFW to Startup Week Tampa Bay.

This weekend we’ll take part in the 3% Super Bowl Tweetup. I’ll be at Miami Ad School for the live in-person event and also participating via Twitter (@whitebookagency) using hashtags: #3PercentSB, #NotBuyingit, #MediaWeLike, and #InstanNotBuyingItSB50tCensus. Join us on Twitter, or you can join the texting campaign with The Representation Project, courtesy of Instant Census, by texting “SB50” to 217.731.4368. On Super Bowl Sunday you’ll receive a few questions and your feedback will be reported back to media and advertisers.

We’re also excited to be a part of Tampa Bay Startup Week again (Feb. 8-12). Last year I hosted a fashion seminar during the week, and this year I organized the Fashion Track for the week which includes: “How Style Impacts Your Startup Journey” featuring Valerie Romas of One2StyleU.com and Brent Krauss of Ella Bing, and “Secret Habits of Successful Fashion Designers” a panel discussion featuring: Marie Crane, Rhonda Shear Intimates, DesStartup_WeekTBiree Noisette, Cerulean Blu, and Roberto Torres, Black & Denim.

The Fashion Track will feature great content for those in and interested in fashion startups and the entrepreneurial journey. Startup Week will feature a variety of other tracks this year, too, including: Craft Beer, Design, Education, Everything Local, Health & Fitness, Internet of Things, and more. Read more about Startup Week in this article here from 83 Degrees Media.

We hope to “see” you at the 3% Super Bowl Tweetup and the events during Startup Week Tampa Bay. More updates soon!

P.S. I saw a funny graphic circulating on social media a few days ago about how January was a “trial” month, and that February was going to represent the New Year. I like the newness of January too much to make it a trial month, but I am all for people who need “do-overs.” If you’re one of those individuals who needs a fresh start, the Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year is on February 8, 2016 ~ so Happy New Year to you! (And remember, you can always get a fresh start daily!).
