Today is a great day! Glad the election process is over, but it sure was a good one this year, wasn’t it? We have Barack Obama, the first Biracial and/or African-American/Black President of the United States. We had Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin, two strong female candidates running for office in powerful leadership positions. Plus, Senator McCain – a war veteran and a great example of the whole “generations in the workplace” topic, working toward the highest level of employment in his 70s. He has certainly lived through decades of change.

It’s such an amazing time to be alive and to be able to witness the change in our country, how far we’ve come through the years and how much we’ve grown.

Progress is good. Change is good. Hope is good. Feeling blessed.

Congratulations, President Obama!
