TAMPA, Fla. (June 18, 2009) – Rock The Runway 4 Jesus makes its debut in Tampa, Fla. on Sat., June 27, 2009, at Bethel Church, located at 1510 W. Hillsborough Ave.

Produced by Model 4 Jesus, a Christian fashion show ministry and creator of Tru Model workshops, Rock the Runway 4 Jesus is a fundraising fashion show that will allow Model 4 Jesus to continue to provide free fashion shows to churches, Christian ministries and organizations.

Rock The Runway 4 Jesus will allow attendees to experience the true rock of the runway, main stage and salvation by glorifying Jesus and inspiring the world to get to know Him through fashion and music. The event will feature sophisticated and chic fashions that uphold a woman’s virtue from talented fashion designers: Audrey “Pat” McGhee of APM Images, Trineice Cagua of JCagua Swimwear, Terry Lewis of Terry Lewis Classic Luxuries, Bebe Ziegler of Ice It by Bebe Z and Latisha Davis of Adore Clothing. Another highlight of the event will be inspirational music from Tampa Bay’s up and coming music artists: Steadfast190 and Faith Michelle, and a special guest appearance from Shelly Ballestero, author of Beauty by God.

The goal of Model 4 Jesus is to teach, demonstrate, empower and encourage women to be true role models, while supporting organizations that uphold those principles. Model 4 Jesus reaches out to today’s generation and gives confidence and encouragement to those who want to show off their best assets to the world: the image and character of Jesus Christ and His calling on their lives.

Model 4 Jesus hopes to help identify the challenges in women’s lives, provide support to them and transform their dreams into reality. “Coping in today’s world where there is pressure to conform can be stressful for women,” said Mayra Gomez, founder of Model 4 Jesus and Rock The Runway 4 Jesus. In keeping with the mission of Model 4 Jesus, Rock The Runway 4 Jesus will provide an outlet to help young women realize there are choices and that their dreams are attainable. This family-friendly event will be uplifting for young girls who will become the women of the future, while encouraging all women to recognize and feel their worth.
